Our Jalapeño, Honey and Cheddar Pork Sausages are one of the most boldly creative products in the Barlows range – a 600g pack of approximately seven handmade sausages sold fresh from our Nottinghamshire butchery, crafted using quality, coarsely minced pork with the extraordinary combination of fiery jalapeño, sweet honey and rich melting cheddar in natural casings. This three-way combination creates a flavour that's complex, indulgent and genuinely exciting – the jalapeño provides a proper, lingering heat, the honey adds a soft, natural sweetness that beautifully counterbalances the fire, and pockets of melting cheddar deliver a rich, creamy depth that makes every single bite an experience. It's a combination that sounds adventurous and tastes even better than it sounds. Cook slowly in a pan over medium heat, turning regularly for fifteen to twenty minutes until deeply golden and cooked through, allowing the interior Cheese to melt throughout the sausage for maximum indulgence. Serve with creamy mash and a honey Mustard dressing to echo the flavours within, or in a crusty roll with sliced jalapeños and extra melted Cheese for the full experience.
