Our Cracked Black Pepper Pork Sausages are a Barlows classic for those who love a sausage with genuine character and a proper pepper kick. A 600g pack of approximately seven handmade sausages, crafted in our Nottinghamshire butchery using quality, coarsely minced pork with a generous amount of freshly cracked black pepper in natural casings. Supplied frozen for your convenience. Cracked black pepper brings a warming, aromatic heat that complements the rich, savoury pork perfectly – creating a sausage that's bold, flavourful and distinctively different from a standard pork banger. Made in natural casings with a satisfying coarse texture, these have the feel and flavour of a proper craft sausage that stands confidently apart from anything mass-produced. Simply defrost thoroughly before cooking. Cook slowly in a pan over medium heat, turning regularly for fifteen to twenty minutes until deeply golden and cooked through. The pepper seasoning develops a beautiful, fragrant exterior as the sausages cook. Serve with creamy mash and a rich onion gravy to complement the pepper warmth, or in a crusty roll with wholegrain Mustard for a brilliantly satisfying lunch.
