Our Mince Pies are handmade in our Nottinghamshire kitchen throughout the year – because at Barlows, we don't believe a great mince pie should only be enjoyed at Christmas. Each pack contains six individual, ready-to-eat pies made with our buttery shortcrust pastry and a generous, sweet spiced fruit mince filling. Far removed from mass-produced supermarket versions, these mince pies have the depth of flavour and warmth that can only come from a product made with genuine care and traditional methods. The pastry is crisp and buttery, the filling is sweet, fragrant and generously portioned – everything a proper mince pie should be. Enjoy at room temperature straight from the pack, or warm gently in the oven for a few minutes for that freshly baked experience. Serve dusted with a little icing sugar alongside a cup of tea, a dollop of brandy Cream or a scoop of vanilla ice Cream. A year-round treat from a fourth-generation Nottinghamshire family butchery that believes great baking should never be seasonal.
