Our Smoky Bourbon Pork Sausages are one of the most indulgent and characterful products in the Barlows sausage range – a 600g pack of approximately seven handmade sausages crafted in our Nottinghamshire butchery using quality, coarsely minced pork with a bold, complex smoky bourbon character in natural casings. Supplied frozen for your convenience. Bourbon brings a warm, caramel sweetness and woody smokiness that complements pork in a genuinely spectacular way – creating a sausage with a depth and richness that is entirely different from anything ordinary. The smoky character adds a wonderful BBQ-inspired quality that makes these sausages feel genuinely special and deeply satisfying. Simply defrost thoroughly before cooking. Cook slowly in a pan over medium heat, turning regularly for fifteen to twenty minutes until deeply golden and cooked through. The caramel notes in the bourbon caramelise beautifully during cooking, creating a gorgeous, slightly sticky golden exterior with an extraordinary aroma.
